CHAS Health will honor individuals who died while living without a home this year at two memorial events. This annual tradition brings together local community partners and those committed to raising awareness of the struggles and humanity of people in our community without a home, as we strive to close the gap on ending homelessness.
These events will include speakers committed to ending homelessness as well as a tribute to the 217 people who we know died this year while experiencing homelessness in our service area.
Additionally, a visual representation of those members of our homeless community who have died this year with individual names placed on the fence outside the CHAS Health Denny Murphy Clinic in downtown Spokane, WA.
