Your Community Healthcare Partner
Since 1994, CHAS Health has served the Inland Northwest when CHAS Health opened its first 2-exam room clinic to help individuals without insurance. We had no idea it would grow to meet such an important need in our communities.
CHAS Health provides high-quality medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of insurance status.
During the past two decades, we have gone through tremendous growth, with challenges and successes. Through it all, our focus has remained on the most important thing: our patients. As we move forward, we will continue to meet the needs of our communities by expanding access to quality health and wellness services
Everyone Welcome
From the beginning, we strongly believe that all people have the right to high-quality health care. Our goal is to remove barriers to care and provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a place that is convenient – in your neighborhood. We believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their situation.
Inclusive | Local | Patient Led
CHAS Health is a non-profit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) that provides high-quality medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of insurance status. In 2023, we served 111,753 patients throughout Spokane County, the Latah Community, and the Lewis-Clark Valley. We expect to continue to grow and bring new jobs to our economy while providing a healthcare home to more people in the Inland Northwest. Our goal is to provide a brighter, healthier future for all families.
Core Values
Our Mission
The mission of CHAS Health is to improve the overall health of the communities we serve by expanding access to quality health and wellness services.
Our Board of Directors
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, CHAS Health is a “patient-led” organization. 51% of the Board of Directors are active, registered patients of CHAS Health, and are representations of the diverse population we serve at our clinics.
If you are a CHAS Health patient, that means your peers are important decision-makers in regards to your health and wellness needs. The Board of Directors makes important decisions to make sure access to affordable and high-quality healthcare is granted to you and your neighbors, and that our clinics meet the needs of our community members.
