Linking Health & Education

School based health centers (SBHC) can deliver care to young people in our community who may not have access to care elsewhere. Healthy students are better learners. When students don’t feel well, it’s much harder to learn and pay attention in class.

Medical Services, Behavioral Health & More

CHAS Health can assist the school community in providing high quality, safe, age-appropriate healthcare to students and staff where they already spend much of their day – at school. Healthy kids and staff can minimize absences and promote higher quality learning in the classroom.

Confidential services to minors

We involve parents as much as possible and encourage students to talk with their parents. When engaging parents is not an option for students, we follow Washington State Minor Consent laws, which outline what services minors can get confidentially without parent/guardian consent, and at what age. This is consistent with CHAS Health practice at all of our clinics.

Registration

Students can use any of our services after a parent or guardian completes and signs the registration forms for CHAS Health at North Central High School. Completed forms can be delivered by the student or parent, or mailed to the health center (address listed above).
