Insurance Enrollment and Renewals- PRCs can help you enroll or renew your Medicaid or Qualified Health Plan in Washington or Idaho.
Medicare Referrals - PRCs can provide you with referrals for Medicare experts to help you choose the right Medicare plan for your unique needs.
Community Resources and Application Assistance- PRCs can assist you with finding community resources or applying for programs like food assistance or energy assistance.
Understanding Services at CHAS Health- PRCs can educate you on the services that CHAS offers and help you understand the cost of your care.
CHAS Health Sliding Fee Discount Program- PRCs can help you apply for the CHAS Health Sliding Fee Discount Program, which can help reduce the cost of your care at CHAS for those that qualify. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply for the Sliding Fee Discount Program, regardless of if you have insurance or not.

Medicaid - You can enroll in Apple Health (WA Medicaid) or Idaho Medicaid at any time during the year.
Marketplace - Open enrollment for low-cost insurance is November 1 – January 15 for Washington residents on WA Healthplanfinder, and October 15 – December 16 for Idaho residents on YourHealthIdaho. You may be able to enroll in low-cost insurance if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period, or if you qualify for Washington’s Cascade Care Savings.
Medicare - Medicare Annual Election period (AEP) is October 15 – December 7. During this time, you can review your Medicare options and change your Medicare Advantage plan or prescription drug plan for the following year. Visit our Medicare Annual Election page for more information.
New Options for Coverage
Beginning July of 2024, the Apple Health Expansion program provides Medicaid equivalent coverage to low-income uninsured adults who do not meet the immigration requirements for federal assistance. Spots are limited but Washingtonians are encouraged to apply in the event spots become available.
Everyone who lives in Washington state can buy health and dental insurance through Washington Healthplanfinder, regardless of immigration status. The Cascade Care Savings Program helps families under 250% of the Federal Poverty Level save money on their premium costs when purchasing a health plan. Clients that have purchased a plan through Washington Healthplanfinder will need to complete their renewal between Nov 1 – Jan 15 to maintain their coverage for the following year.
