What is CHAS Health?
CHAS Health is a non-profit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) that provides high-quality medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of insurance status, for more than 30 years. In 2024, we served over 120,000 patients throughout Spokane County, the Latah Community, and the Lewis-Clark Valley.

School Based Health Centers
CHAS Health's school-based health centers (SBHCs) are conveniently located inside select schools in our community and can serve any Spokane Public School or Mead School District Student. These facilities enable students and staff to receive integrated medical care, mental health, and other quality healthcare services.
What to Bring for Your First Visit
When you arrive at your clinic, please go up to our friendly front office staff who will check you in. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Our staff will ask you to provide the following documentation:
- Identification: A valid ID (driver's license or state ID).
- Insurance Card: If applicable, patients should bring their health insurance card.
- Completed Forms: Patients will receive an email or text message with a link to fill out any documents needed prior to their appointment, including any necessary consent forms.
How to Schedule an Appointment
To schedule online, visit chas.org. To schedule by phone, call 509.444.8200 in Washington or 208.848.8300 in Idaho.
Please give notice of at least 4 hours to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you do not notify us within that time, it is considered a “no show.” Patients with two or more “no shows” in a 6-month period will be placed on the list for same-day access only.

Patient Portal
As a new CHAS Health patient, you can sign up today for online access to your health records, labs, test results, and more. Patients can message their provider directly and connect with their healthcare team.
To ensure confidentiality for our minor patients, portal accounts are not available for patients ages 12-17. More information on minor confidentiality can be found on our Minor Confidentiality page.
Insurance & Payment
