All pregnant women covered under Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) are eligible for services. Women who have no medical coverage or partial medical coverage may also be eligible for First Steps. Preventive prenatal care begins as soon as the woman is aware she is pregnant and applies two months post-partum. Maternity support services are aimed at promoting healthy birth outcomes and supporting social needs and education to prepare for birth.

Infant Case Management (ICM)

Once MSS services end, families can transition into infant case management support up to one year following birth.
