Ruby Elsherif, RN-C

Ruby has lived in Eastern Washington since 2017 after having transferred from an OB nurse on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation, to a family care nurse on Spokane Reservation. Although she will always call St. Louis “home”, she has traveled all over Washington as a labor and delivery nurse. Ruby is excited to now support expecting parents as a First Steps nurse at CHAS Health.

Ruby considers it an honor to help parents bring their new babies earthside, and she wants this transformative experience to be positive.  She wants her patients to be able to give birth without fear of judgement, assumptions, or the birthing process itself. Ruby would also like her patients to be free of the worry of being able to provide for and parent their child.
