Gunnar Velikanje was raised in Yakima and has strong ties to Eastern Washington, fostering a deep appreciation for the communities and people who make the region unique. A proud two-time graduate of the University of Washington, Gunnar also participated in the RIDE program, an experience that helped shape a commitment to serving others.
Outside of work, Gunnar enjoys exploring Spokane and the surrounding area with family and friends. One favorite destination is Priest Lake, where time is often spent enjoying the outdoors with a black lab.
