When Survivors Give Birth training and am in the process of training for opiate treatment in pregnancy.  I am also certified in High Risk Inpatient OB. I worked in Labor & Delivery for 11 years and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 8 years. I’ve probably attended over 2500 births. I have a special heart for women with trauma, abuse, or addictions.


What do you like to do?

I do all sorts of hand crafts like bobbin lace, hardanger (it’s Norwegian) and pulled threadwork.


How did you get into that?

Oh, something to do.  I also love to travel, I’ve been to 17 foreign countries.
