Dr. Deb Wiser has put CHAS Health’s mission into action since she joined us as Chief Medical Director in 2018. When she stepped into the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) position in early 2020, she became the first woman to serve in that clinical leadership role at CHAS Health. Not long after, Dr. Wiser also became the first CCO to navigate CHAS Health through a pandemic. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Wiser used her patient-centered approach to lead CHAS Health’s efforts in providing essential testing, treatment, and vaccination of our patients and community. During her time as CCO, she has provided guidance to keep patients and staff healthy while maintaining a commitment to continuous quality improvement. This same patient-centered approach has led Dr. Wiser to follow her passion to practice full-time family medicine at one of the CHAS Health clinics and step away from her CCO role.
