Latah Community Health Clinic

The Women’s League of Volunteers in Moscow, Idaho was instrumental in bringing CHAS Health to Latah county through a poverty study completed in 2011. Latah Community Health opened in 2013 as a stand-alone medical clinic. In the beginning, the clinic was open only 4 days per week. Pharmacy services were added in 2014 and in 2015 the clinic began operating 5 days a week.

In 2017, Latah Community Health was awarded a dental grant and outgrew our 1800 square foot location. As the new clinic was being built, we turned our procedure room into a dental operatory, making us the first and still only CHAS Health dental clinic in Idaho! During a blizzard the Saturday before Christmas in 2017, we moved 1 block down the street to our new 10,000 square foot clinic with 6 dental operatories, 8 medical exam rooms, and 1 procedure room.

In addition to medical, dental, pharmacy, nutrition, and general behavioral health, we currently offer CHAS Opioid Recovery Clinic (CORC) services, which include medically managed treatment and substance use disorder counseling. Our CORC team works closely with the Latah County Drug / Mental Health Treatment Courts. This program supports community members seeking meaningful substance use disorder treatment rather than serving time in jail for drug-related crimes.

The Moscow community has shown tremendous support to Latah Community Health and we receive the most community and patient donations of any clinic at CHAS Health. We use our donations specifically to help our clinic’s patients buy medications they might otherwise go without due to expense. Latah Community Health has a great team working together to provide the best care for our patients. If you live in the area and aren’t already a patient, we look forward to serving you soon!
