Dr. Liam Lunstrum is a Northwest native raised in rural southwest Idaho. New to Spokane, he arrived with his family and two retired sled dogs! Dr. Lunstrum speaks English and Spanish, having volunteered with the Peace Corps in Guatemala. He studied philosophy in Oregon, worked on a vineyard in Italy, and studied medicine outside of Los Angeles. He completed a family medicine residency in Alaska and has additional specialization in rural and geriatric medicine. We recently welcomed Dr. Lunstrum to our North Central Clinic.
As a D.O. or osteopathic physician, Dr. Lunstrum’s goal is to partner with patients in supporting the body’s natural capacity for healing through lifestyle choices, activities, and medication use when appropriate. Dr. Lunstrum appreciates that our CHAS Health North Central Clinic treats aging as a specialty. This clinic focuses on patients 60 and above, accommodating longer appointments to allow time to address multiple conditions, explain situations addressed by a specialist, and encourage integrated care through consultation with in-house clinical pharmacists, behavioral health providers, and social workers.
