CHAS Health has five locations around Spokane County to get rid of your old or unused medication. Patients and members of the community can return expired or unwanted medications at Med-Project drug take-back kiosks at the Maple Street Clinic, North County, Spokane Urgent Care North, and The Valley Clinic.
The following medications are accepted by the kiosk:
• All medications (controlled and non-controlled) in any dosage form, including inhalers, liquids, and medications in tubes
The kiosk does not accept the following:
· Herbal remedies
· Vitamins
· Supplements
· Cosmetics
· Other personal care products
· Batteries
· Mercury-containing thermometers
· Sharps
· Illicit drugs
· Pet pesticide products
To protect your privacy, remove all personally identifiable information on medication labels or packaging before disposing of unwanted medicine. Do not place medicine in the trash or recycling, and never flush them down the toilet.
